Tsuji Ayano (official website) is my favorite female singer/songwriter. she has the song called “Kyoto, I love you” (iTunes) which is a lovely song!
Another band “Quruli” (official website) also has a song associate with Kyoto: “A University student in Kyoto” (iTunes)
They are both started their careers when they were university students in Kyoto. I think that their slow and relaxing songs reflect Kyoto people’s characteristics.
