I’m a licensed guide, but I’m happy to act as your volunteer guide
when I’m free.
However during the spring and autumn high seasons I’m unable to
respond to any requests more than two days ahead of the requested date
because of work commitments. In the off-peak seasons I can accept
requests one week ahead of the guiding dates.
BUT I would be willing to consider a more unusual volunteer guiding
request further ahead of time if it involved an interesting activity
or somewhere other than the must-see sites.
- I ask you to cover my expenses, though transportation to the
meeting site isn’t necessary if in Kyoto city. - As a volunteer I am unable to accept requests from commercial
tours and can only help unaccompanied tourists.
As a licensed (non-volunteer) guide I’ll answer your requests anytime.
