Hello! all Japan & Kyoto Visitors! :) For Kyoto Highlight Tours etc, please check this website! “Kyoto Guide” ( http://kyotovisitors.blogspot.com/ ) It includes many helpful information all about Kyoto Guide along with many pictures! :) As for the fee. I’m doing a guide by volunteer, so my guide fee is totally free of charge.

I’m doing a tour guide in Kyoto mainly on weekend as volunteer with JNTO license. I do love to talk with people, making friends from different countries/cultures, I’m already guiding the tourists from many countries like Italy, Spain, France, Belgium, USA, UK, Canada, Australia Korea, etc…

I love to introduce Japanese things, cultures, history and interested in what culture/history your country has! I speak English. Tennis, Traveling, Reading, Movie are in my life. Let’s enjoy exchanging different cultures during the guide!

Kyoto has various “MUST TO SEE/EXPERIENCE” each season by different appeal! I’m doing a trip planner, so I can give you recommend plan for your other days so that you can enjoy Kyoto on your own!   • Kamogawa Odori :  (Kamo River Dance) Enjoy lively songs and dances in the stunningly decorated stage. a traditional dance and drama, performed by geisha-san and maiko in Pontocho, a famous geisha district. It takes place in May, at Ponto-cho Kaburenjo.
  • Yabusame-shinji : A type of Japanese archery, one that is performed while riding a horse. The archer shoots a special “turnip-headed” arrow at a wooden target. The origin is at the beginning of the Kamakura period. Minamoto no Yoritomo became alarmed at the lack of archery skills his samurai had. He organized yabusame as a form of practice.

  • Sakura : Sakura in Kyoto is almost gone for now. but if you visit Osaka, you can’t miss this famous event! ^^ especially at night. the cherry trees are illuminated in the evenings to magical effect.
    “Zoheikyoku Sakura no Torinuke”, means “viewing the cherry blossoms while strolling through the Mint Office gardens”. Admission free.
  • Lit up temples : When sakura season is almost gone, you can still enjoy the beautiful night light up senery at the two temples.
